How do you scope digital strategy work?
We always start with a discovery phase where we got to ask questions, lots and lots of questions to gain valuable insights, We tend to start with an initial audit by looking at all your data, your business objectives and what internal systems we need to integrate with before we can develop a clear roadmap.
What do I actually get after discovery?
The output of the discovery phase is typically a number of things, firstly It should be a comprehensive digital strategy that includes a marketing plan, a roadmap for website optimisation as well as ideas for content creation to improve conversion rates as well as suggesting funding by phase.
How long does a digital strategy project take?
Good question, this is hard to answer as lot depends on the what we are doing ad how complex it is. However we have found that the average tends to work out between four and six weeks with the first week always about data analysis as well as the initial audit. Its only in the second or third week that we move into strategy development. Then around the last week we share it with your team so we can refine and agree the roadmap going forwards.
Who will I work with day to day?
You’ll work directly with our digital strategy consultants who have all built products and web development or have run marketing campaigns, from Digital PR to SEO to social media campaigns.
How do you measure success of a project?
We set the success metrics during the discovery phase as these tend to be tied to your business objectives. These are usually more sales or more sign-ups, or better engagement and conversion rates and sometimes its all of them but always around your digital presence.

We love working with both, we have worked with large enterprise teams and plenty of small businesses who just need direction. Once a comprehensive digital strategy has been set the difference is in speed of execution and the number of teams involved.
How technical do you get?
We are engineers at heart and can get pretty technical, we have been through all sorts web development, mobile applications and enterprise integrations. We use that background and a data driven approach to help you make better technical and commercial choices. It means your marketing efforts and your platform development move together instead of fighting each other.
Can you help with brand and content too?
We handle brand development, messaging and content creation to ensure everything interconnects. Once the identity framework’s in place we build out the marketing campaigns to your target audience to improve online visibility. Our creative work always ties back to the valuable insights from the discovery phase and are designed for sustainable growth.
Can you fix existing digital systems?
Yes, we do this all the time and its becoming more and more to start here as clients tend to have systems that don’t talk to each other. We look at what each system is used for and how we can move data between them, however there are times when we need to replace a particular legacy and sometimes when we need to add a wrapper to its database.
How do you keep a project on track?
We try and keep things simple here, when we set up the clear roadmap in our discovery phase and we follow that with weekly check-ins to keep things moving and tackle any blockers before they grow. We use lightweight tools for comms and reporting so there’s no mystery about progress.
